I am at a public sector Organization in Scotland with HR and Payroll ... they are looking to implement OBIEE.
Is there any value in considering OBIA HR Analytics?
In the past the out of the box reporting / analytics was pretty private sector focused, largely based around KPIs and performance. Most of the reporting requirements here are more operational, especially around Absences, Pension and Payroll. Does the ETL cover the UK legislative and PQP/PQH in these areas?
We were in the same boat and had taken OBIA. Most of the seeded reports you get with OBIA HR or finance are not usable, as there are so many bugs or the reports are not as detailed as we need. You could maybe use the underlying ODI mapping and use the logic for building your own custom reports. That is th eonly use we coudl find with prebuilt OBIA reports for HR/Finance.
