We are taking on an academy that has different absence schemes (Sick/Maternity) from are main payroll . I am still in the investigative stage. Please can someone kindly assist me with understanding what needs to be done.
Requirement for sick leave 1. Employees don't get the first 3 days paid.
2. Up to 6 months --- 2 weeks full pay 6 months and less 1 year --- I month full pay 1 year less than 3 years ---- 2 months full pay 3 years and above - 3 months full pay and 3 months half pay .
Am going to use the Seeded template. Am not sure how to achieve the unpaid absence for the first 3 days. Also are their areas which I need to pay attention from your experience.
You will still need to configure it in some way to not pay the Occupational sick pay for the first three days. There is some options that can be set against the plan on the Participation tab called 'Maximum Waiting Period' Not sure how or if this works but might be something to go on.
