If you are of a mind to make use of the P11D / Non-P11D element entry history taskflows, be aware that the seeded P11D/Non-P11D taskflow nodes appear to have been stripped of their customisation restrictions. These are ultimately implemented as element sets - which will still exist - however with the missing customisation restrictions, you'll see entries of all elements, not just the ones in the relevant element set.

If anyone on 12.2 can check their installation and see if they have the same issue, that would be useful.

Under UK HRMS Manager or UK Super HRMS Manager, go to Security -> Task Flow Nodes, and query the task flow name %P11D%. The customisation column is on the right side of the screen.

Let me check this at the site i am on. I'll report back.

Right then.
On one of our many 12.2 upgrade test instances, i can see the 4 seeded task flow nodes complete with populates customizations...
NON_P11D_ELEMENT_HISTORY
NON_P11D_ELEMENT_ENTRIES
P11D_ELEMENT_HISTORY
P11D_ELEMENT_ENTRIES

Having just gone to live cutover for this, we learn of a small but significant change in Oracle's approach to RBAC security.

We have a self-service capability to see concurrent requests, which pre-upgrade was secured such that only the submitter (and certain others) were able to see the details.

With 12.2.4, the default rule changes from 'no one can see it' to 'everyone can see it' . Why? I mean, just... why???

We had to close down the live self-service appraisals process whilst this was being resolved.

Oracle note 2052185.1 refers.

Happy days.
