Dear Gurus,

Is anybody out here who has implemented Monthly Data Collection using Oracle e-business system or written own extract? because Oracle supplied one is not working as expected or there is outstanding SR?

What is the time frame needed to implement Oracle supplied monthly data collection, if it is working as expected?

We are using custom written program to submit annual service return to teachers pension body.

Any information will be useful.

Kind Regards,
Hemant.

Hi

We are in the same situation as yourself we used a custom solution to implement ASR. I believe implementation time depends on your existing set up and how data cleansing needs to be undertaken. My conclusion is the timeframe can vary and also dependent on how soon you get your SR resolved

This are the areas the needed revisiting for us.

1. Extra details of service screen needs to indicate who is a teacher and is enrolled .
2. All are locations are set as Global, this doesn't work with the MDC solution. The have to be Local .
3. Create new locations.
4. Assign new locations to assignments.
5. Deciding to run the process as Payroll provider, LEA, NON LEA or MAT. For us we use Non LEA for all are academies and LEA for are other two payrolls.
6. We needed to set up Rate History are elements don't use Rate History.

Half asleep, so I hope it makes sense.

Good Luck.

Thanks

Hi Del,

Thanks for pointing me to latest patch we need to apply for MDC.

Hi Alero,

Luckily all our locations are local. Can't you ask Oracle to proved datafix? or write concurrent request to populate business group id for locations you are using!

What do you mean by 'We needed to set up Rate History are elements don't use Rate History'?

I noticed that if there are any terminated employees in the given reporting period than processing following over. There is one of patch 'Bug 22846072'

Kind Regards,
Hemant.
