I'm trying to get any employee to access iRecruitment Employee Visitor site to browse vacancies and then when click 'Apply', they login and the application process opens.
I cannot get the login to then start the application process - it takes the person to the Employee Visitor page again and then have to find the vacancy again and click on 'Apply' then an error is shown (full page error)
HELP!
Has anyone got this to work? If you can help please send me an email to caroline dot minor at vtbcapital dot com
Thanks Caroline

Hi Caroline We have had similar problems with our iRecruitment system, and overall it has been a vast dissapointment. The worst Oracle product I've encountered. Very slow, very clumsy to use for both recruiters and, most importantly, people wanting to apply for jobs. Not a great advert for any business wanting to attract top class candidates
We're upgrading to R12 and I was hoping for some big improvements, but sadly looks as bad as ever. We're now going to to ditch iRec later this year and from initial investigations there are significantly better & more flexible solutions available......which are also cheaper to implement & maintain!
So I guess my advice would be don't waste time & effort, but look for something better. If you're stuck with it, then best of luck.
It's been a while but I think I encountered the same issue before while we were working at Logica.
Checked my documentation and looks like I came up with a personalization based solution - involves hiding the default buttons and creating your own button (the second half of the below solution). I'll include the top part as well as I can't remember why that was done and may be important.

You can do some very cool things with iRecruitment if you have the time and treat it like creating a new jobsite/website rather than simply an Oracle implementation. Unfortunately most of the time it is implemented on a budget. I helped out on this one recently and think they've done a good job. Multi-language as well. https://ejob.dubai.gov.ae/OA_HTML/IrcVisitor.jsp?&L=US
