The retropay process has never been the speediest process in payroll. We thought Oracle had resolved the problem when they introduced enhanced retropay. Indeed it did at first, shaving hours off the time. However, we now seem to be back into the realms of retropay increasing again month on month. From a process originally running for about 6 hours, our latest process took 39 hours.
has anyone had similar issues, and if so, have you resolved it?
Seems the action plan worked. Performance was improved by 60%. The plan included gather stats and generate run balances as well as a couple of patches and a datafix.......Happy Days!
