Here at W-D we have identified the need to effectively remove (temporarily) certain user-hooks so as to prevent them from kicking off all sorts of mischief when we come to migrate the data into Oracle.
I have a script of sorts that will remove the reference from HR_API_HOOK_CALLS (called, rather helpfully, HR_API_HOOK_CALL_API.DELETE_HOOK_CALL)
However, this seems a bit drastic given that the UPDATE_HOOK_CALL process allows us to set the enabled flag to 'N' (or indeed 'Y' if that is our desire).
Question is, does the setting of ENABLED_FLAG = 'N' have the same effect as removing the thing completely?
