Following a period of testing using a parallel install, we have today modified the configuration govening the tracking of user sign-on and authentication.
We are now running using server-side sessions instead of browser cookies. This (hopefully) should put to rest user sign-on issues that have been nagging us since the move to the new server last year.

WHAT DOES THIS CHANGE MEAN TO ME?
You will probably have noticed that you had to sign in again, as the existing cookie for this site is no longer being used. You may also be required to log back into the site in the event of you closing down your browser.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I EXPERIENCE LOG-IN PROBLEMS?
Report them in the problems forum, or email the site admin directly.
