Just like it says on the label, file > export won't work when trying to export to spreadsheet contents of folder e.g. employee by element list. Cooperman (the original, not the johny-come-lately at the Independent) advised me that profile option ‘Export MIME Type’ is to be set to ‘text/tab-separated-values’ (which it is) and that there is a profile option ‘FND Export All Block Data’ that needs to be set to ‘Yes’. However, I cannot find anything remotely like ‘FND Export All Block Data’. Oh, and we're running on UAE localisation of r11i if that's of any relevance. Any helpful suggestions appreciated.

Hi Jodders,
Did you manage to get this sorted in the end? If so how? I have the same issue with one of our Customers here, I have tried clearing out the Jar Cache, and re-installing JInitiator; to no avail! Also, we have disabled the pop-up blocker in IE etc...
Cheers, Gavin

Gavin, No, I wasn't able to resolve this in our development instance, but on our acceptance test instance it was working. I'll take a look at the settings tomorrow and if I see anything obvious, I'll let you know. Cheers, Jim.

HI Jim,
Was this an issue after upgrading to Windows SP2? I think that I have managed to resolve this by adding the web address that Oracle is on to the Trusted URL's list in IE.
Does this help resolve the problem for you?
Cheers, Gavin

Check these seetings on Excel: under Tools -> Macro -> Security Security Level: this should be Medium (or Low if you have a good firewall in place) Trusted Publishers: Trust access to VB project should be ticked Regards. Jairo

Hi Jairo,
Cheers for the update. The issue here was resolved by setting up some file associations to TSV files, and by setting the URL to the Trusted List (I.E. As you say, setting the security to Low).
Cheers for the help! Gavin

I'd like to thank you both for actually taking the time to come back and provide an update on the solution. It is often the case that problems are raised here but the solutions are never fully updated.
Thanks again
Barry
