For those that may be interested, here are some of the forthcomming events from the UK-OUG

  • July 3rd - Public Sector combined SIG
  • September 10th - Peoplesoft combined SIG
  • September 18th - HCM SIG
  • September 25th - Public Sector HCM customer forum (invitation only)

Also remember that the 2008 UKOUG Conference & Exhibition (20th anniversary) takes place in Birmingham December 1st to 5th
I only mention this as i will be attending at least one of the days.
Given the fair-to-middling response sofar to the HRMSAces 'event' perhaps it might be worth co-ordinating attendace at this event for an improptu meeting?

In the mean time i'll get the admin to place these events into the public calendar in due course.

Cheers

I am member of the Public Sector HCM customer forum and regularly attending the forum.

It is quite nice to share the Public Sector requirements/issues with Oracle and others.

Hi KP

I attened a couple of the PS HCM customer forums a couple of years back at the invitation of Mike Lally (Cheshire CC) - in fact i even did a presentation on HRMS Aces at one!

I was until the start of this year on their email distribution list, as many issues encountered were not too dissimilar to those encountered on the NHS project.
I think my registration details on this list expired!

I am now a paid-up member of the UK-OUG so hope to take a slightly more active participation in the HCM arena going forwards.

Sounds like a plan! Not that I am generous enough with my own money to join the OUG!!!

Ah ha!
Bronze Affiliate membership is a mere £95+VAT
At this level you dont get automatic entry to any of the events, but you do get heavily subsidised rates for SIG's and conferences so you can pick'n'choose which ones you do want to attend. Compared with the other membership levels it does seem to be good value.

These dates (and several others) have now been added as public events to the forum calendar.
