Greetings

I am trying to upload balances via the initial balance upload process. The issue is with ex-employee's. I have set the upload date on the pay_balance_batch_lines table to be the final process date. However the process returns the error of "No Assignment Found".

The final process date which happens to be 30-JUL-07 is the same as the effective start and end date of this particulat assignment. So as the upload date is 30-JUL-07 I am confussed.

Any pointers on ex-employee's balance initialisation is appreciated.

I'm sure that Mr Tucker may be along at somepoint with some words of wisdom on the subject.
In the mean time, traditionally when doing migrations i have tended to upload all balances before terminating assignments. Ie migrated terminations have tended to be the last step in any migration process. That way you avoid such nasties as you are encountering.

Hello,

A possible issue may be the definition of the pay elements associated with the balances. If they are configured to end on Last Standard Process, they won't be available.
