Is it me getting old and grumpy, or has anyone else found that Oracle University just doesn't seem to be doing much these days? Or is i-learning so prevalent now that there are no 'proper course' alternatives any more?

I've been given the job of training a permanent employee to be an Oracle HRMS subject expert - and I thought that the best starting point for her would be the old 1 day HRMS Overview and 3 day 'Implementing HRMS' courses - so that she could get a wider view of the apps than just the way her employer has configured it. But all that the Uni website seems to offer are i-learning sessions these days.

Does anyone know anything different?

It could quite feasibly be both...

Sorry that doesn't help does it? Joking apart though, perhaps a niche market there?

You may want to consider one of the partner training organizations that are out there.
During the UKOUG in december i wandered the stands of many of these. They tend to run the popular courses on a much regular basis than Oracle themselves, and appear to offer better value for money as well.
Names from memory are:
QA-Xpertise (they have offices in throughout the UK)
inoapps
iTrain

Regards

Barry
