Hi,

I have created a Cursor that uses the per_assignments_v5 view, when running the query in Toad it returns the correct data.

When I try and put this into a cursor (I have run in both the application and in TOAD) it returns no rows.

Can anyone help me with this issue?

Many thanks

Martin

You do not specify how you are running the cursor, but I would guess the issue is that you are not effectively 'in the app'

Many of the views particularly in HR/Payroll need to be linked to FND_sessions in which a row is created when you sign in. You need to mimic this

Out of interest why are you using the view and not the base tables ?

As Gus mentions, how are you using this view in the cursor (show us your code..)?

A quick look at the view source shows that its an applicant assignment view, and does indeed join to FND_SESSIONS.

Hi,

I have managed to fix this issue, it was an issue regarding the FND_SESSIONS.

I have amended the code to include this and the cursor is now completing.

Many thanks

Martin
