I want to import EUL OR BUSSINESS AREA in my existing discover. when i try to import,my discoverer give following error

"The import has failed (you end user layer has not been modified)the file name C:\xxxx can not be imported.Its needs discoverer version 9.0.2.0.0.0 or newer"

my current discoverer version is 4.1.37.00.0

i am attaching the screenshot for your reference,
please let me know how can i import EUL or bussiness area with my current discovere version

I'm no disco expert but i would wager a reasonable sum of money to say that you cannot do this.

This would be similar to trying to use an export of Oracle RDBMS 6.0.36 and import it into Oracle RDBMS 10g - its not going to work because of the internal changes between the versions...

What you should do is migrate/update your Disco 4.1.37 instance to the newer version (if such a thing exists).

I now sit back and await a Disco person to step in and endorse or counter this statement smile

You cannot import Disco 9+ EUL's into Disco 3,4, or 4i frown

You can import 3,4,or 4i disco EUL's into 9+ but they need to go through the conversion process.
