You need to give the employees the Preferences tab on the self service page - they can access Change Password from there.

The alternative is to use Oracle User Management which has got various user workflows associated with it, including reset password.

Ah - that's the User Management workflow! BAA did it - I'll see if I can find out what they did...

To enable the link, you need to set the Profile option: Local Login Mask. This will need to be set as follows:

• USERNAME_HINT = 01
• PASSWORD_HINT = 02
• CANCEL_BUTTON = 04
• FORGOT_PASSWORD_URL = 08
• REGISTER_URL = 16
• LANGUAGE_IMAGES = 32
• SARBANES_OXLEY_TEXT = 64

So, if you want to show User Name Hint, Password Hint and Forgot Password Link then the profile option will be: 01 + 02 + 08 = 11.

Look at matalink note 399766.1. This describes setting up the process.

Hope this helps!
Gavin
