Those lucky enough to be attending this year's Oracle Open World are likely to get to see proper demos (including labs) of the new fusion apps.

Those that cannot make it (and i include myself) should try their best to get along to this years EBS UKOUG conference in Birmingham (end of Nov, beginning of Dec) as i have it on good authority that they will be presenting an entire stream on the new fusion apps.

The UKOUG website does not currently have the agenda up yet, but be sure to check it out in a month or so as i'm sure they are just putting finishing touches to it.

Anyone going along to this? Might try and get there myself this year. Will be at the HCM SIG in October in B'ham as well.

It's 22 October - if you want a lift up there, I'll be heading north up the A3 for the day?

An up-to-date agenda for the event can be found at: http://www.ukoug.org/calendar/show_event.jsp?id=4042

Not sure if you need a membership number - PM me if any issues

Dammit, that's the half-term week - we are meant to be 'going away somewhere' then... mad

But thanks for letting me know Geoff.

Have spoken with UKOUG
Apparently they will have lots of stuff on Fusion apps on the 2nd and 3rd days of this years event. Including 2 keynotes and hands-on workshops. Its just that the information is not yet up on the online agenda!

As for the HCM sig i think that it may be worth attending...I foresee an impromptu hrmsaces gathering forming

I need to check with my better half, but in principal the idea is a sound one. Drop me a PM as to where you are staying...

Regards

Barry

Unfortunately I am only able to travel in the morning on the day from London. But hopefully I will see you all there. I will be representing Compel Business Solutions, Sahir Chaudhry.
