Does anyone know how to get the SSHR Appraisal to automatically save when an appraisal session times out on 12.0.7?

On Metalink note no. 461176.1 it discusses how since 11.5.10 HR_FP.K
"The SSHR Appraisals function can now automatically save user data to database tables at critical points - for example, when an appraisal session times out or between pages in a multi page transaction - and restore it seamlessly. As there is no problem of session time-out causing loss of user data, you no longer need to set the HR: Appraisal Session Timeout user profile option."

Unfortunately we still have a problem where the sessions timeout and the users lose the information if they have not clicked on Save as draft or Apply.
