Could you create a new post button that's on the home page somewhere at the top right?

Also, in your FAQs, you don't have a question for 'how do I create a post?' and although I use the site from time to time... I often don't recall how to raise a post...and then spend a few minutes trying to remember where to find it!!

It's obvious once you know - re having to go into the area that you want to raise a post on... but it would be far more user friendly if you can just click 'Create new post' on the main home page.
