While I'm on this improvement page today... could you improve the look of the site so that it is more dynamic looking?

The beige-gray colour gives an impression that the site is quite old...and dare I say it, 'drab' (sorry I'm just a funky)!!

I know that it does not reflect the quality of data/posts/information etc... which is very good... but we all know that look/feel plays an important part in systems (let's face it Oracle are not that flash at this either).

The community software that forms the backbone of this site (UBB) is undergoing a rewrite and some of the preview shots i've seen do indeed look 'more modern'. However i need to assess how it can be integrated with some of the customisations which are in use on this site.

I cannot promise a delivery date for a site revamp, as history tells me that whenever i have promised to deliver a site revamp i have failed to hit the date!

I have some time scheduled during the summer for some work on this (and other) sites, and i will post an update nearer the time.
