Okay we are migrating Organizations into the App . .Okay there are APIs for Orgs and Classifications . .Can't seem to find an API for Org Costing . .Any advice anyone . .Thanks :twisted:

Gus the hr_organization_api.create_organization has a parameter p_cost_allocation_keyflex_id so maybe you need to get the appropriate value from pay_cost_allocation_keyflex first. (I seem to recall there used to be something that created rows in pay_cost_allocation_keyflex but I can't find it!) . .Or failing that there seems to be an api in the same package called CREATE_COMPANY_COST_CENTER (damned yankees!!) . .Cheers . .CT

Thanks Clive. . .Yes I have seen the one with the p_cost_allocation_keyflex_id on it. . .I'm really after a standard API to insert the costing to generate the ID . .Will look at the CREATE_COMPANY_COST_CENTER . .I do have a custom one I have written but would rather use standard if poss.

Looked at that not good. . .The api for the create API has parameters for p_segment1 thru 15 .no segment values on the hr_all_orgs table......I wonder ??? . .Could it be that simple

I know its a belated reply...but... . .What you need is to call the hr_entry.maintain_cost_keyflex first. .This will return the cost_allocation_keyflex_id for the combination that you supply (either creating a new one or returning the existing combination id). . .Then you can supply this id in your ORG Api call. . .Done this at ECC and here there and everywhere...
