Hi ..

Running on R12.1.3 configured with 8 business groups and profile option "Enable Security Groups" is Yes am trying to load into Setup business group in this initial instant.

Profile Option MO : Operating unit is set as Setup Business Group as are all HR security / Business group ones ..

FND_LOOKUP_TYPES_PKG.load_row() fails with a loverly :

CP-Generic oracle error (ERROR=ORA-20001: SQL_PLSQL_ERROR: N, ROUTINE, MO_GLOBAL.INIT, N, ERRNO, -20001, N, REA) (ROUTINE=FND_CONCURRENT.INIT_REQUEST)

Does the process work if you run it outside the DP environment? e.g. as a direct call to <whatever it is you are trying to load>_API

I seem to remember *shudders* that some things are apt to mess with DP's head a bit, as it don't have the wherewithall to do things like apps_initialising, and setting session dates etc - can't still be true these days, shurely?

I am trying Global Lookup Types .. With a view to managaging both local types and mixed values too (shortly) .. DP seems a little better now .. and the error message i have been chasing .. was %%&))*_( pants_API as when i traced it alll it was a duplicate value on index :-) LOL .. Same lookup type meaning in the test data .. all working now ...

But dont run too far off ehh .. be like old times ...
