Hi,
I am new to an Oracle Implementation and I am responsible for setting up Self Service Human Resources. Can someone please help me with the set-up steps?
Thanks
Newbee

If you don’t mind me asking....
If you are "new" to an Oracle Implementation, how is it that you are "responsible" for setting up SSHR?

In an ideal world, this forum is designed to provide assistance and help with people implementing and customizing HCM applications, but does make the basic assumption that the people asking the question generally have some idea of what they are doing.

For your question, my first port of call would be with your "client". If it is your employer, and you have been tasked with implementing this product, then i would ask for some training. Oracle run many scheduled training classes (physical and e-Learning) which cover most of their modules. Depending on your country of location, you may also find many 3rd-party companies will provide training in Oracle modules.

My second port of call would be the online help and documentation which is freely provided by Oracle. If your employer/client is a licensed oracle e-Business Suite customer then as part of the software CD/DVD pack there will be a documentation CD/DVD included. This provides all of the documentation for all of the e-Business Suite application modules, including the implementation guides to said products. This documentation is also available online via MyOracleSupport and (probably) the OTN network too.

I am trying to be polite, as i know of many other forums where such a question would be treated with some derision.

Regards

Barry
