Hi All,

I am keen to know if you are using any testing tools in your organisation.

If so, I’d be interested if you could share:-

The name of the tool you are using

Which aspects of the system you test using the testing tool

Any advice on the best way to develop the regression testing scripts stack

So far i have not seen on most of the sites i have worked or know have used any testing tool. Do you think testing tools are not a real benefit to ERP or there is a fundamental reason/s why the testing tool is not used.? right now it reason eludes me:-((

Appreciate your help.

Thanks and regards

Sudhir

Hi Gus,

Do you use the Winrunner/Testdirector for regression testing as well as loading testing.

Is it easy to develop test scripts and automise the regression testing and works fine forms as well as self service applications.

Sorry to ask more information.

Cheers

I always thought UPK was more a training tool rather than a testing tool. Oracle's own testing tool, I believe, is OATS (Oracle Automatic Testing Suite).

Cheers,

Delboy
