Hi All,

Hoping one of you could help me in this regard? As many of you may be aware under the Manager Self Service Menu, when you select a Manager Action function such as COMPETENCE_PROFILE_MGR_SS you will first get a People in Hierarchy page where you will view your subordinates details and also perform actions on then using the Action icon.

This is all fine, however the Action Icon as default also is there for the Manager themselves at the top this hierarchy tree. I have been asked to remove this action just for the Manager but leaving the icon for the employee subordinates.

I have been told this can be done be extending the OA framework controller on the page. I also have tried changing the paramter behind the function so it has the below;

pCalledFrom=COMPETENCE_PROFILE_MGR_SS@addBreadCrumb=Y&pManagerEnabled=N
So I basically added &pManagerEnabled=N to the end of the parameter string which worked for some functions but not all. Do any of you have any suggestions to another way we can do this without any customisations?

My Client does not use security profiles so I can not restrict user option in the security profile.

Hi,

You were on the right lines to start with. There's a few typos in the parameters you pasted, but if you put the &pManagerEnabled=N in before breadcrumbs it will work. I've just tried the following and it worked:

Function:
HR_COMPETENCE_PROFILE_MGR_SS
Parameters:
pCalledFrom=HR_COMPETENCE_PROFILE_SS&pManagerEnabled=N&addBreadCrumb=Y
