At the moment we are carrying out some PPR testing

One of the things to be tested in Directors NI

We have setup the person as a Director on Person and also amended the NI to be Director Normal and have processed them and it has deducted Ni

We are getting a figure out but are struggling to reconcile to legacy system.

I have created balance adjustments to initialize what we think are the appropriate balances (like a mid year migration)

Anyone any experience of the exact balances to setup and what the values should be

The balances are the same for directors, just an additional dimension _PER_TD_DIR_YTD.

I am entering all the balances (and dimensions) I can find and then running a quickpay, the values does not match the Legacy system

We are assuming the extra balances are required as Directors NI is cumulative

Are they Director on Account??

I have a spreadsheet of old ... and I mean old as this was something I did back in my Oracle days ... which will assist in understanding the results

Director Normal treats them like any other employee, unless they leave or no longer are a director. Type of 'Director' will treat them as Director on Account. There are other types depending on whether they became directors during the year.

Soem further testing has now been carried out and the legacy system has been proved to be wrong....so we now have this sorted
