Hi, can anyone advise me if it is possible to hold multiple bank accounts on the same payroll, but for different companies. Currently the company I work for, has one bank account to pay salaries for multiple companies, sometime in the not too distant future one of these companies wants to have their own bank account is this possible? I thought that by just creating new payment methods for this company would be sufficient - but perhaps I'm wrong. Sounds to simple.

It should be possible to set up a separate org payment method to be paid out of a separate bank account. I'm not sure how you would cost it though. The only other issue I can think of is that the payroll can only have one default payment method, which will in turn point to one org payment method.
I suppose a wider question is, to what extent does this 'separate' company want to be separate?

As I understand it, you define two Organizational Payment Methods (which can be of the same type) and attach them both to the payroll. Have a play in your sandbox environment, I say.
As CT says, the default payment method for the payroll may need special attention e.g. a personalization or exception to prevent the default being used for the group of employees in that payroll who you'd like ring-fenced.
