Hi,

I think I am experienced HR user. We face the following issue:

Via person type usage we change user person type employee in a different type, let's say temporary employee (of the same system person type of course. A datetracked change. However in the person screen this change is visible but the effective date does not show this change. Navigating via the calendar in the toolbar proves that the change has occured. Isn 't this strange, the fact that the effective date does not show the person type change?

Searched on Metalink, found the solution, it is intended functionality

Still strange in my opinion

This will be because the date track is actually against Per Periods of Service and not Person (PER_ALL_PEOPLE_F) as such...
I have to be honest, this was a little odd when I first saw it though!
