I am encountering a strange error when trying to terminate an employee through the application screens (see attached doc of the screen shot).

In the example given, i am using 30th Nov 2007 as the projected, actual and last standard process dates, and 29th Feb 2008 as the final process date.

The error seems to be SSP related, however this emp only has 2 episodes of sickness absence - one for 7 days in august 2007 and one for 3 days in july of 2006.
We do not appear to have any rows in the SSP_TEMP_AFFECTED_ROWS table either.

Would appreciate any pointers on this for me.

Oh, and if i try to perform the termination using the 2 API's in an SQL session it terminates without issue??

Re our very recent conversation about payroll calendars, note number 303907.1 on Metalink suggests that the calendar needs to extend at least 2 years into the future! Although this was specifically about the same message encountered whilst entering an absence.

The other thing I was going to ask is: what is the effective (session) date in each case? Also, what if any offsets are present on the payroll in question?

Interesting that the APIs do it OK but the screen does not... oh of course, the screens don't use the APIs do they
