R12.1 patch now available (13895716), however no mention in the README of any facilities for NEST. Anyone out there aware of future plans for this from Oracle?

The readme does say there are further changes to be released in a future patch. Could it be in that?

Has anyone applied this patch yet? I can't seem to locate the new seeded context 'UK Pensions' in the Additional Organization Information. I am looking in the DFF of the same name but it doesn't appear, or am I barking up the wrong tree.

Cheers,

Delboy

Ok, I've located the context. It is actually in the DFF called 'Org Developer DF' but it does not appear under the 'Others' button on the business group classification.

Any ideas?

Still waiting for an instance to be made available so that I can evaluate this patch...

At the risk of stating the b%£$%ing obvious, is the structure enabled and compiled?

Sounds like you should be able to see it though... from the readme:

"Navigation: Work Structures -> Organization ->
Query for the Org Name -> Choose the Business Group Classification
-> Others -> Choose the UK Pensions Additional Information."

I feel an SR coming on... frown

*Edited to add*: Did you check it from the Sysadmin side? ie. looking at the DFF structure 'Org Developer DF', and seeing what contexts exist that start with 'GB%', and are they checked as 'enabled' on there. Sorry if you alread did that, just clutching at straws mate

Tried recompiling the DFF and got an error window with the message:

"The descriptive flexfield "Org Developer DF" of application "Human Resources" uses features which are only supported in Oracle Forms. This flexfield may not function in other environments such as OA Framework or PL/SQL APIs.

The number of warning messages: 1

The context field uses reference field "C_ORG_INFORMATION_CONTEXT"

BLOCK.FIELD references are only supported in Oracle Forms."

I'm assumimg this is just a warning message.
